That water used on a site for production including as ingredient (for drinks or food), for washing, rinsing, processing and cooling. It includes water used by employees for drinking and sanitary purposes. Where crops are grown on site (eg. farm or vineyard) it includes the water used for irrigation. It does not include water used in the supply chain.
