A commercial business that provides products or services on a commercial basis. Most of Waterplan’s customers fall within this definition.
Commonly there is more than one company name to take into account. Many companies, especially international ones, have both a global corporate name and local names, which may be similar or very different from the global name. For example, for an (imaginary) company, Watson, its global name is Watson International. Then its business in the UK is called Watson UK Limited. It purchased an existing business in UK some years ago that manufactures chocolates. It still operates under its original name Best Chocolates Limited even though it is part of Watson International.
At Waterplan, we need to be clear which part of the business is our direct client, the global entity or local one. We also need to be sure we use the correct name. Companies can be very sensitive to this.
